Overview
Every custom application depends on open source and third-party software, and new vulnerabilities in that software are published all the time. Vulnerability management is the ongoing work of finding the ones that affect you, keeping known ones out of new releases, and fixing them in production. Our vulnerability management services cover each part of that work, with four solutions that work together.
Here is what that looks like when it matters. On July 29, 2026, Ruby on Rails shipped a fix for CVE-2026-66066, a remote code execution flaw in ActiveStorage that had climbed to a 9.5 out of 10 severity score by that evening. We had triaged it that afternoon as routine maintenance. When our monitoring caught the severity jump, we escalated it to an emergency, ran each affected client application’s full automated test suite locally and in CI, and deployed the patch that same night. For one State government client, it was in production at 11:09 PM. The first exploit attempt against that application arrived at 7:10 AM the next morning, eight hours and one minute later, and it failed. Each of the four solutions below played a part. For the full timeline, see Government Rails Site Hit Hours After CVE Patch.
Find: CVE Monitoring
Our CVE monitoring solution watches your application’s dependencies daily for newly published vulnerabilities, and our security experts triage each one against your specific application, so you know which issues need a fix tonight and which can wait for a normal maintenance window.
Prove: Test Coverage
Our automated test coverage for legacy applications solution builds the tests that prove a patched application still works, so a fix can reach production the same day instead of waiting for a manual regression test. It starts with a Test Coverage Assessment, from $2,500.
Block: Secure CI/CD Pipelines
Our secure CI/CD pipelines solution wires dependency, container, and static analysis scanning into your build with open source scanners such as Trivy, OWASP Dependency-Check, bundler-audit, and Brakeman, so known vulnerabilities are caught before they ship.
Fix: Maintenance Program
Our application maintenance and remediation program is where remediation happens: security patches, dependency upgrades, and fixes for audit findings, made, tested, and deployed. It is software agnostic, with Ruby on Rails applications and Docker deployments as common examples.
Where Audits Fit
Our security and accessibility audits find vulnerabilities in your own code, such as an application vulnerability assessment or an authentication and access control audit. The fixes for those findings are remediation work, and the maintenance program is where that work happens.
