As my team and I work towards a major deadline this week, I am reminded at how easily last minute thrashing sneaks into a project that has many stakeholders involved. This is a challenge that a properly run Agile project should be able to minimize, but it seems to always be there.
Chris Getman (@chrisgetman) published a great post on his blog, referencing the same Seth Godin video that I recently watched, entitled Thrashing: Why Your Project Slipped.
A well run Agile project can minimize some of these tendencies by focusing on regular releases. As Seth would say, ship! What we do for a living is ship!
