Want to Learn Ruby on Rails in Atlanta?

The Emerald City Programming Group has started back up for the fall, starting today, Saturday, September 28, 2013.

The first class had an excellent turnout with twenty two local budding Rubyists in attendance. The environment is extremely friendly. The volunteer instructors this year are Anjan Das and Carlos Gonzalez.

This free class is open to the public and will cover everything you need to go from zero to deploy, including:

• Rails
• Ruby (the class is using the latest Ruby 2.0)
• Git / GitHub
• Homebrew
• Ruby Version Manager (RVM)
• Bundler
• Heroku
• Multiple Databases, including SQLite and PostgreSQL

The group supports Windows, Mac OS X, and Linux. Everyone is welcome.
